Lola and family send a hearty congratulations to CEO and fellow-Gnomedexer, Ted Rheingold, for the announcement today that his company, Dogster, has secured $1MM in funding. His investors include Delicious founder Joshua Schacter and SoftTech venture capitalist Jeff Clavier.
(Dogster was doing web 2.0 before it was called web 2.0, at a time when posting a picture of Lola on dogster was done simply because I didn't know how to blog how much we loved our little puppy.)
Ted explains, "Adding this investment to our current revenue means we will be able to introduce features at a much faster pace and be able to offer our services and community support to a much larger audience."
We couldn't be happier for you Ted! As a dog lover, I'm wondering if the allocation will be $999,999.99 for dogster and $0.01 for the kitty-cat site.
