I get at least one eBay phishing scam delivered to my yahoo mailbox per day. Recently they've come in the form of a "respond to a bidder" email that urgently wants to get in touch with me about the cash they just sent. (Boy...do I love those ones.)
Today I clicked through and proceeded to enter my favorite fake ebay username and password, punctuated with four-letter words throughout and got the most entertaining confirmation page [pictured at left.]
"We are sorry ... but our machines apparently had a few errors so the email was sent to several of our customers. Rest assured that your private data is in a safe place..."
Your private info is in a safe place! I love that! I feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
