A new kind of time-share has recently been developed. One that happens to have a pretty nice golf-course just outside its front-door. The St. Andrews Grand is a "luxury golf and sporting club" overlooking the 18th hole of St. Andrews Old Course. ("Overlooking" is an understatment in a world of terms like "full-ocean view" and "partial-ocean view".)
There are 23 residences and fractional pricing costs $1.3 million for a minimum of 10-weeks stay per year. Playing priveledges include: Crail, Elie and (the site of my near-death experience) KINGSBARNS.
$1.5M and NO OLD COURSE!? Well...rumor has it you can always sneak on after dark for a game of 'glow-n-the-dark' golf.
