Congrats to visionary, Mike Macadaan and "Team-Ryan" for an amazing inaugural event. Tech + cocktails + DJ = fun. Who knew?!

I fondly remember the venue from Tuesday night parties in the presence of 60's cover-band "The Funkee Hippies" from my days at Rubin Postaer & Associates. This time around, we saw macs illuminating the evening dance-floor and schwagg bags filled with techie stuff.

Stand-outs for me included demos from crazyegg and yourminis ... San Diego guys doing good in the world ;-) I had to head home at midnight but the party was continuing down the road on Ocean Ave.

Crazyegg impressed because you can see your blog/website in heat-map form. Remember the golden-triangle from search-research? This does the same thing for you (and more) on the cheap. In fact, Crazyegg (hands-down) was giving away the best schwagg you can ask for... a free life-time paid-account. woot!

Yourminis gives the non-techie the ability to customize their own flash-based widget. Twiistup used it for their count-down clock for the event and I've been playing with it a little...provided a little feedback to the guys there and they were very receptive...from San Diego...of course they were!

Once again... great job to Mike and great to meet so many new people at this twiistup. See you at the next one.
